Although it was founded in 1986 by a couple (Tara, then a Canadian student living in Paris, and her entrepreneur husband David Jarmon), the brand immediately became part of a deeply feminine identity, where dresses and coats played a pivotal role. After leading the artistic direction of her eponymous brand for three decades, Tara Jarmon handed it over last spring to Colombe Campana: a young talent (36 years old) poached from & Other Stories (a cutting-edge label of the H&M group, which the stylist helped launch).
